On August 11, 2001 Merle Peirce, Chris Tucker (pictured at top), Geoff Rochat, Peter Rochat, and Russ Goodman visited Steve Hort's home in Mont Vernon, NH to rescue a mothballed DEC PDP-11/70 system formerly installed at the Nashua Telegraph. The project came to fruition at the last moment, saving this wonderful machine from the scrappers.
In addition to our original plan to rescue only the 11/70, we were pleased to acquire a Rainbow, VAXMate, PDT-11, PDP-8a, PDP-11/40, VT-52, VT-62, VT-102, and an LSI-11.
