In late January, the Astronautics Corporation made available one of its ZS-1 mini-supercomputers to the museum. On short notice, Merle Peirce organised a rescue to bring back the ZS-1 from Madison, Wisconsin. Gunter Schadow of Indianapolis, Indiana joined the rescue, along with Astronautic's own Jon Auringer and Andre Boeder. Richard Shauer, Jerry Saunders, Jr-, and Ray Piescuik, of the Illinois Railway Museum's Trolley Coach Department met us at the Technology Centre and assisted loading the truck. Amtrak's Paul Langevin and FHWA's Dan Berman assisted with the task of unloading in Rhode Island.
