The Rhode Island Computer Museum is a non-profit corporation incorporated under the laws of Rhode Island for "procuring and preserving whatever relates to computer science and its history; disseminating knowledge and encouraging research in computer science by means of visits, lectures, discussions, publications, corrrespondence and such other means as may seem to facilitate the purposes of the corporation." An application for tax exempt status under section 501-c-3 of the Internal Revenue Code was approved 16-December-1999.

We maintain a strong pro-British bias because our since our establishment in 1994 we have been encouraged and assisted by British Motorcars of New England, and because nearly all of the officers are rabid Anglophiles, including 3 past presidents of British Motorcars of New England, FTR, Ltd.
