The museum is presently working to catalogue its existing collection, and to bring all its systems to operating condition. The following systems are now at the head of the list for service and maintenance:
DEC PDP-9 (1967) DEC PDP-10 DEC PDP-11/34 Data General Nova 3 Honeywell DPS-6 (1983) Keronix MAI Basic Four (1975) Wang VS-65 Wang 2200VP (1976)
With the passage of time, we hope to add older and larger systems, especially IBM, and to bring them also to operational status.
We also wish to add a number of British legacy systems, largely, though not entirely, micros such as Enterprise, Dragon, Acorn, etc.
We also are investigating the possibily to building a Beowulf type super computer (see the Amigawulf proposal). And, in the long term, we would like to see the replication of a Babbage engine, fully steamable.
Surplus equipment is reused through our Computer Assistance Programme.
