Curriculum

Hands-on and game-based activities can include the following, but specific activities are planned based on student interests, age and level: 
  •      robotics (based on the Raspberry Pi)
  •      coding (e.g., Scratch, Python, HTML/Javascript)
  •      3D modeling and printing
  •      game design (e.g., Minecraft modding, Roblox, Kodu Game Lab)
  •      video editing
  •      office software (word processing, spreadsheet, slide presentations)

Fall 2017- Spring 2018 Schedule

There will be five 6-week sessions (early fall, late fall, winter, early spring, late spring).

Classes will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Each weekly class is 1.5 hr long. 

                Morning            - 9:30 am - 11:00 am  or 10 am - 11:30 am

                               (start time can be adjusted based on consensus)

                Afternoon         - 12:00 noon - 1:30 pm

Parking is available in a small parking lot across the street on Main st., in the courtyard and on the street.

Enter the Hope Artiste Village complex at the 1005 Main St entrance.

Go through the door at the "rooster" sign (Winter Farmer's Market)


Then immediately turn left and go down the hall past the laundry room towards the large green doors.



In this lobby, enter the door to basement stairs (on the right in picture below).


At the bottom of the stairs, turn left, and the CodeBot Studio is a few doors down at unit 8105B.
