Apple-IIe

This handsome Apple IIe was donated by Steve Paquin of North Kingstown, RI. The IIe - the "e" indicated "enhanced" - was introduced in 1983, replacing the Apple II+, and was fitted with seven expansion ports, the MOS Technologies 6502R processor and 64K memory. This represents the highest development of the classic Apple II design. A further improved version entered production in 1987. The Apple II line was discontinued in 1993 after 15 years of production.
