Supercomputers

The RICM has four supercomputers from the Cray Research division of Silicon Graphics. The EL98, J961, and SV1ex-1 are in the same vector processor architecture family. The T3E-900 has a completely different architecture based on a distributed memory 3D torus topology interconnect network and uses DEC Alpha 21164A (EV56) processors.
