Wang VS5E/VS6E

The VS 5 is part of the CP 5 processor family and can support up to 300 users. On April 3, 1986, Wang Laboratories Inc. introduced the VS5 and VS6 32-bit minicomputers for use in small businesses and corporate offices. The VS5, priced at $12,000, supports up to eight users and the VS6, priced at $19,950, supports up to 16 users. The VS 5E and VS 6E are the same as a VS 5 and VS 6, except that the internal disks are SCSI.

The RICM has two VS 5E systems, one with two 67 MB disks and one with a single 67 MB disk. Both system are running VS 7.21.09. The system with the single disk exhibits a strange behavior where it locks the keyboard on the console when it asks for the date/time.
