IBM Thermal Conduction Module

IBM TCM (Thermal Conduction Module) 1989

The TCM was used in IBM mainframe computers in the 1980s and 1990s.

This display is a dissected TCM mounted on a plexiglass stand which shows the internal components.

It was used for marketing purposes in the 1990s to demonstrate IBM’s technology to potential customers. It was donated by James Oswald and was stored in his attic for the last 20 years.
