Orange Micro Inc, Macintosh Enhancement Products, Mac86 2.0

The Mac86 is an Intel 8086-based MS-DOS coprocessor expansion card for the Apple Macintosh SE computers. It promises XT performance, so that means that it has a 4.77 MHz processor.

It was originally developed by AST Research. In 1989 AST left the Apple market and sold the manufacturing rights to Orange Micro. Orange Micro later made a 80286 version of this coprocessor card.

This example of the Mac86 is still shrink wrapped in the box.
