The original Macintosh revolutionized the computer marketplace.  It successfully introduced the Graphical User Interface (GUI), the mouse and the modern concept of how computers are used today.  Borrowing heavily from pioneering work by Xerox Parc, Steve Jobs and his team originally created the Apple Lisa with burgeoning ideas of the GUI concept.  But with a greatly improved price point, its 1984 successor, the Macintosh, continues to this day.
