The VS 5 is part of the CP 5 processor family and can support up to 300 users. This system runs VS 6.43.00.
On April 3, 1986, Wang Laboratories Inc. introduced the VS5 and VS6 32-bit minicomputers for use in small businesses and corporate offices. The VS5, priced at $12,000, supports up to eight users and the VS6, priced at $19,950, supports up to 16 users.
The VS 5E and 6E are the same as these systems, but they have internal SCSI disks.
